FLCA Rudolph Award

FLCA Rudolph Award

The FLCA gives out Reindeer Award Pins every month to people who contribute to the many varied tasks of the club.  The pin recipients have worked hard as part of the club herd, helping move the herd in the right direction and contributing to our many successes.

The list of recipients of the club’s Reindeer Award Pins are reviewed at the end of each year by the Awards and Title Committee to find the person who stood out amongst the herd for their deeds to support the club, our members, and our beloved breed.

The Rudolph Award recognizes that outstanding FLCA club member - someone who stepped up to be a lead reindeer when the need was great, just as Rudolph stepped up on that foggy Christmas Eve to guide Santa’s sleigh with his shiny red nose.  Rudolph always did more than he was asked to do, did it willingly, and his can-do attitude saved the day.  These Lead Reindeer set a very high standard for exceptional service to the Finnish Lapphund community.
